Romance Blossoms in Santa Barbara
Often wedding blogs plaster the page with DIY romance, from table cards to tasty cakes; however, flowers don’t seem to get the spotlight they truly deserve. Today our Santa Barbara wedding blog wants to showcase a couple who truly allowed their love to blossom.
Most of us did not marry our prom date, and most of us are pretty thankful about that. But for a lucky few, a wonderful high school romance begins on that dance floor, which whisks the couple from the dance floor to the wedding aisle. Jamie and Brady are one of those fairytale couples. On the day of their eleventh anniversary, this couple exchanged high school romance for wedded bliss.
Their wedding décor artfully balanced elegance and warmth. Inviting guests to be feel comfortable in a chic celebration, such as Jamie and Brady’s, can seem difficult, but success is really just a bloom away. This couple achieved a stunning, but welcoming atmosphere by utilizing flowers.
Flowers proffer effortless elegance that few decorations can, for the simple reason that flowers simultaneously showcase an almost unearthly splendor and a very earnest simplicity. Choosing to decorate with variations of their wedding color, purple, the couple played it modern by keeping a clean color palate.
The roses pouted perfectly, adding to the allure of this soirée, while the couple danced to Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.” Guests could enjoy a late night Kobe Burger in between stints in the couple’s photo booth, which replaced the ordinary guest book experience.
Jamie and Brady did not just maximize the effect that a sumptuous flower arrangement can have, but they minimized the cost by having a friend of the family help with the flowers. If you don’t have a friend with an eye like this, then this Santa Barbara wedding blog wants to give you this tip: calling a florist along with the first of your wedding vendors can help reduce costs, as flowers often travel a long way to arrive at your wedding.

This is a great blog! Seems like it was one great wedding! I love weddings in Santa Barbara, they are always so perfect and the weather always seems to do it justice. I was just in town for a dear friends wedding at the Zoo and we had a great time! We all stayed at the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). So inexpensive and the location is superb.
