Come Fly With Me...To Your Tropical Wedding!
Santa Barbara Wedding Sites
A Santa Barbara wedding site might not be your first inclination when you propose tropical wedding spots; however, Steve and Farrah joined together on July 17th to celebrate their tropical wedding—right here! From the bright accent colors to the vintage travel paraphernalia, this couple committed whole-heartedly to turning their tropical dream into a reality.
Guests arrived at the beachfront ceremony on an authentic beachside trolley and were able to switch out their city kicks for the locals’ shoe: flipflops! Adorned with arrangements of frawns and banana leaves comingled with exotic purple and orange bouquets by Grassroots, we left the California beach behind and guests were transported to the tropics. The groom wore a sumptuous lei around his neck as he waited for the bride’s father to walk her down the sandy aisle.
Once back at The Beach Club, the wedding party continued their travel through the tropics with a Hawaiian luau. The newlyweds even offered a signature tropical cocktail, a delicious Mojito. If that didn’t help transport guests, then the vintage postcards of tropical travel destinations, the large seashells from local beaches and the delightfully bright flowers in loose bunches surrounding the outdoor reception area cast the right spell.
The tropical flavor extended even to the lighting—with tiny orange beads of light flickering from behind the leaves of The Beach Club’s generous outdoor space. There, guests could enjoy the lively music of AMS Entertainment or relax by the impressive brick fireplace, making their tropical vacation complete. So next time someone suggests a destination wedding, make that destination The Rincon Beach Club.
